Hello, I found a bug with the 'symbolic' package in the function 'subs':
octave> pr=sym("x1")+sym("x2")+sym("Q1")+0.5pr =
0.5+Q1+x2+x1
octave> subs(pr, sym("x2"), 33)ans =
0.5+Q1+x2+x1
I built a function that you may use
sym2sym.m
