I don't know the first thing about Windows, so I was hoping somebody
else could help you here. The best suggestion I have is that you don't
compile the files that link against libjpeg. You can do this by
uncompressing the package file and editing the file 'src/Makefile'. Her
you should then change the line (line number 14)
$(JPEG) $(PNG)
into
$(PNG)
You want get the 'jpgread' and 'jpgwrite' functions, but you rarely need
those as you can just use 'imread' and 'imwrite'.
