No, because I'm not the package maintainer and some people may have an
intrinsic aversion with polluting their code to support THE evil compiler ;)

I've Cc'ed the package maintainers (as found the DESCRIPTION file).
If I don't get any answer in the coming days, I'll probably apply the
patch then.
