Dear C. and Massimiliano,
With the release of Geometry 1.2.1 comes an example of the use of
data2geo to produce a mesh from an SVG file.
It is still primitive but it is functional.
Once you have installed Geometry 1.2.1 just do
demo('data2geo', 2)
To see the results you will need to have installed msh and fpl.
