Thanks for the answer,

I tried, but the make is not working. I haven't tried to debug though.

I just wanted to know if we have a potential contact person in the
Octave community. Otherwise I could contact them to see if they plan
an Octave interface.
Before doing any work (time is extremely scarce around here lately) I
want to coordinate with the packages owner, it maybe that they already
are planning something.

I will wait for a few days and if nobody answers I will see to contact
the people in Belgium.
