Hi Doug,

On your first point about the trunk, I think it's just our wording that's
not really clear :) When you checkout ode in the ode directory, it's
actually the SVN trunk that you've imported, hence the reference to it. But
I'll make this clearer.

For distro-axis2, you're right, it used to be built with all other projects
but we've made it separate a little while ago. But what you've done in
building the module explicitly is good.

I'll update the doc, thanks a lot for letting us know!

Cheers,
Matthieu

More on this...
There was a distro-axis2 directory and after running maven in it, I
got a target directory with a tar file containing an ode.war.

Thought you might like to know this in order to update the doc...

Or can I update the doc and submit somehow?

Hi!
In regards to the "Gettng Ode" page on the website, it seems a little
outdated in the following ways:

It says:
"Then open a command in the source root (usually in ode/trunk) and
type:..."

I did not see a trunk directory, so I ran the "maven install" in the
/ode
directory - that seemed to work.

The page also says: "Running in Tomcat

After everything has been compiled, you should find a full distribution
in the distro-axis/target directory. Unzip it somewhere on your disk,
everything needed is inside."

I did not see a target directory under distro-axis.
There was an axis-war/target directory with a
"ode-axis2-war-2.0-SNAPSHOT.war" in it...

-Doug.
