I built a gpe-image/openzaurus-unstable image targeted to spitz with the 2.6 kernel. Build went fine without errors but when I flashed the image at first boot it didn't start with altboot, and didn't go through the root password setup then gpe-dm kept crashing, I can get to the console and login as root. I createded a new user and rebooted, locked in same gpe-dm crash cycle. I can't seem to find any xsession-error files to see what's crashing.
To build it I used a simple "bitbake gpe-image" Did I miss a step to create a new image? Google & review of the bitbake manual didn't shed any light. And I see altboot is not one of the packages created in the deploy/ipkg directory.
