During the screen calibration run after the initial boot, when the bullseye
moves from the upper right corner to the center for the final tap, it leaves a
trail of vertical oragne lines. When you tap the screen after that, the machine
locks solid, requiring a reset. After reset, the calibration is not rerun and
the remainder of the initial configuration can be compeleted successfully.
