I installed gxine under OZ/GPE 3.5.4.1 on a spitz but I couldn't get sound
output until I installed
libxine-plugin-ao-out-oss
After installing that I was able to play MP3s but not ogg files. gxine would
just crash when I tryed to play an ogg. I have all the packages relating to ogg
and vorbis installed, including all the libxine ogg and vorbis codecs. I am
also unable to play ogg files with the
ogg123 -d oss filename.ogg
command. It looks like it is being decoded but no sound comes out whilst mpg321
plays mp3s fine.
