Hello! I used the same workaround and it worked for me. However the Network manager applet in Jaunty does not work even with this. So i did a very lenghthy workaaround. !) Installed Ibex first, configured the knm there , then 2) upgraded to jaunty using alternate CD. This way presrved my oledr knm with config and was able to connect to internet.
