Thanks. I did endup installing the NT Resource kit, and did find this info
(before I saw your email...) BUT was not that sure how it ACTUALLY
works....can you provide any eaxamples ??

Maybe you need this registry setting:
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\SessionManager\BootExecute
a string pointing to executables that can be executed like (autochk) before
services are started. Diskeeper does this magic as well.
