Umm CTRL-C copy to clipboard... Maybe I've not been getting enough sleep but 'yank'?

We already have Cut Copy and Paste for a selected block... can you give me a frame of 
reference
for this request... It's not making much sense to me right now...

Are these blocks treated differently from blocks selected via mouse or
shift-cursor operations?
Aren't there persistent block options and editor colour settings to allow you set
this behaviour at present?
I suspect I'm misunderstanding your purposes but there needs to be more descriptive
content to explain the wish... (You know how picky a genie can be)...

Yes compile-time assertions to give warnings would be great... It might be nice to 
have a
'warning off' switch that acts on the current source-line too so that once 
code-validation has
confirmed that a warning is unnecessary it can be removed... Compiles with warnings 
shouldn't
go out the door without the warning's all being checked and removed (or noted).
