Actually, I think the market is pretty good for Delphi developers at the
moment.

As you may know, the company I currently work for (SmartMove) will probably
shut down later this month, so I had to find a job fairly quickly.  Within a
week I had three firm job offers, all of which offered significantly better
salary.  I finally accepted a job at 'Information Tools'
http://www.infotool.com which had a office near Milford beach - no more
commuting across the bridge!.  

After having dealt with a range of recruitment agents, I would recommend
that anybody unhappy with their current salary or conditions should at least
test the market - there is  a lot of companies out there doing interesting
work & prepared to pay for people who can churn out Delphi code.
