If the head unit is a sony and it uses the control A1 digital
communication thingy that their component systems use, then theres an API
available and a small PC A1<->Serial adapter you can get.  You can even
get cd-jukebox software for windows which will use CDDB and tell you
exactly what cds are in your 5disc/400disc player :P
