Unfortunately no - it can also affect clients. It's mostly an attack on IIS servers, but it also can hit clients via holes in the IE browser, or as incoming email with script attachments. You can read all the gory details here: http://www.cert.org/advisories/CA-2001-26.html AFAIK both of the client problems are fixable via MS patches http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/MS01-020.asp (I'm also embarassed to admit i've got a few unpatched one's here) -ns --------------------------------------------------------------------------- New Zealand Delphi Users group - Offtopic List - [EMAIL PROTECTED] Website: http://www.delphi.org.nz To UnSub, send email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] with body of "unsubscribe offtopic" Web Archive at: http://www.mail-archive.com/offtopic%40delphi.org.nz/
