Thanks all for the replies, given the broadness of suggestions I've
bashed them all together into one place : if anyone is looking for any
hosting - or telehousing - here is a damn good list to start from.

If we were somewhere particularly litigious I'd put some disclaimer that
the list isn't definitive, and that you'll have to work out how accurate
the comments are for yourself, and that you can't forever hold anyone to
any particular offer they made. (But we're not, so its all true and this
all known hosters, and get your free accounts here ;)

If I've missed any, or you want to add yours, feel free to add it to
the list below ( and I can only assume that no-one'd mind if you also
send it back to the off-topic list).

Hope nobody minds having their names attached to these, and that the
spellings are correct - I just copied them from mail sender.

Cheers, Kurt.

David McNeill suggested "www.defined.net has the best Delphi friendly web hosting"

Tracey Maule says that if her boss uses http://www.net24.co.nz/
then it must be cheap, and Robert Martin says nice things about them
too - how they'll "pull out all the stops to get your system working 100%".

Aaron Wood put forward http://www.brinkster.com who do windows based
and provide a database, and Seth Wagoner found brinkster much better
than NTWebHost, who he "would avoid like the plague", and suggested that
digiweb are very fast and reliable, but with high storage costs.

Stephen Barker and Gary (presumably Benner?) both run webservers, both Windows and Linux, and offer both hosting and telehousing "at favourable
rates to fellow developers".

Finally, Stephen Bertram suggests that "Maxnet seem to have a good range
of services including NT or UNIX servers, SQL Server/MySQL/Access"
and Wes Edwards as a Maxnet reseller offered list-members a small
discount.
