I was under the impression some Java contractors can earn up to $80 an hour (this was about 2 years back with the Java fever). It's a shame Delphi isn't as well-rewarded financially. I wish Octane (their full-blown .NET Delphi product) would hurry up and be released so we'd at least be on an equal footing with our Microsoft counterparts.
