Hi Paul. The main issue you will run into that I have experienced are
anything that used variants or variant functions like VarToStr means you
need to include "Variants" into your uses clauses.
The other DEMON thing that people experineced going fro D5 to D6, and
its the same for D4, is if any of your controls use Property editors,
this gets really messy as yu have to include at lease one more item to
the uses clause, and DPK files that you might use that have the controls
in them, and rename one of the desgnint to designint (I think that what
its called).
This however is quite well documented around various locations and a
search on Google will I am sure return a number of sites.

There are bound to be other things too, but these are the 2 main issues
that I got when converting a D4 app to D6.

Subject: [DUG-OFFTOPIC]: Moving to D7 from D4

Hi all

At last I am looking at upgrading from D4 to D7 - any comments about
this process would be most appreciated as I am not looking forward to
spending a week just getting things to compile again !!

All my libraries have source so that should help.

TIA

Regards
