I downloaded this a month or 2 back because of it's ability to show all the files opened by any process.  For some reason Windows Explorer was keeping files open that were open once but had been closed, and I wasn't able to delete them.  This was more unusual because a reboot didn't fix it!  Explorer would re-open the file!  The only fix was to forcefully close the file using Process Explorer.

No worries.

The other tool that I've just started using from that site is the Process Explorer.  It's a replacement for Windows Task Manager. only on steroids.  Will list all the DLLs loaded by any process (which is useful for tracking down obscure DLL versioning bugs, etc), allows you to suspend individual processes if you want your machine to concentrate on other stuff, etc.  Worth checking out.

Cheers,

Can't give you specifics, but if you don't want to write it yourself, check out the SysInternals website: www.sysinternals.com.

Lot of useful utilies there, including a disk monitoring one that can be configured to run in the tray.
