Subject: [DUG-Offtopic] IT Degrees

Hi all

I am looking to continue my studies, after taking a couple of years off.

Problem is, when I was doing my courses, they were CBC, DipBC and NDipBC, then onto summer school at uni to get the relevant degree.  I have completed not quite half of the 3rd year papers.

However, the structure of IT papers has changed dramatically over the last 2 years, and I will need to cross-credit and pickup papers all over the place.

I have a few questions for those of you in the know, perhaps you are doing/have done these courses yourself or even teach some?

Q1)  What is the Degree I should be aiming for? (I develop Internet based software and admin the Db and web server)

Q2)  What is the best way for me to achieve that degree from where I stand now?  (bearing in mind it will be part-time)

Any advise you could pass my way will be gratefully received

Cheers all

Tracey
