What sort of numeric are you using?

Hi Neven
OK will look into it. BTW what data type are your parameters?

My parameters come up as you say in the subreport links.
Its definately a Firebird/ODBC issue

Hi Neven
When you use a SP does it allow the link I mention? Mine does not
and instead prompts for a parameter when I run the report. I
wonder if it is to do with the data type of the parameter, I have
tried Integer and Numeric(11). What do you define yours as in MSSQL?
I thought of the ODBC driver but after checking on the Firebird
support group I am advised that the ODBC driver works fine.

I'd look to the ODBC driver then they are different as to how they
expose the SP parameters
If you have MSSQL (or msde) you could test your logic on that
(which is what I use)

Great !
I am using 8.5. I add a subreport, select the SP. When I go
to the linking tab I only see the output fields to link on, not
the input parameter.

Hi
Does anyone have experience using Stored procedures in
Crystal reports. I am trying to create a subreport with a
single SP that takes 1 numeric parameter, I want to link this
parameter too a value from my main report. However the SP
parameter does not show in the subreport links page and the
report always prompts me for the parameter (which I
definitely dont want !)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
