If you are using a trusted connection, then user etc is not used as it uses your windows credentials instead.

Whats the error?

Hi all.

I am haveing a problem with a connection string in .Net

I want to connect to the DB server SQL (yes thats the SQL servers name...SQL...needless to say the persone who named it that no longer works here !!) , database ComCare, with teh username of myusername and password mypassword.

Here is what my con sting looks like ATM :-

Server=SQL;database=ComCare;trusted_connection=yes;user ID=myusername; password=mypassword

BUT this doesnt work.

Can anyone help?
