Question: Do you think, if Sun would not pay all the (TOP-) developers, infrastructure, almost everything, the OpenSolaris src base would be in a more advanced state now? For the move from Solaris 9 to 10 alone (then still 100% closed), Sun spent 500 Million USD for R&&D. A more powerful OGB or not, can you please answer this question?
Everybody can clone the repos and create a branch-off. And wait for enthusiasts ... And then the code can _rotten_ on that person's servers. What is better for the OpenSolaris.org project? And especially for the user-only base? ???? ????? ???????, ??????
