Dear OGB,
The following are the results of the community contributor/core
contributor nominations for the zones community.
I am also writing you with regards to the BrandZ community.
Core contributors of the Zones community have been in communication with core
contributors of the BrandZ community; that community has agreed to allow all of
its core contributor grants to expire. Core contributors from both communities
are requesting that the OGB, under section 7.12 ("Termination") of the
constitution, grant all resources from the BrandZ community (projects, mailing
lists, web content, etc.) to the Zones community, which will act as steward for
this information going forward. This is acceptable to both parties.
I spoke informally to Alan Coopersmith earlier this month; assuming I understood
correctly, he said that he did not expect this to be controversial, and that
notifying the OGB was sufficient. If there is more I need to do, please let
me know. A core contributor from the Zones community will be tasked with
implementing the merge.
Additionally, one core contributor of the BrandZ community has been elected a
core contributor of the zones community.
