 From the beginning of this debate I expected that some would be 
disappointed with the results as the only real way to deliver want they 
were asking is for Sun to give up its trademarks.

I cannot see any need to do this at all. Are you wanting anybody who is 
working on OpenSolaris who are being paid to by Sun or others to move to 
OpenSolaris.com? You probably forget that Sun pays the bills for all the 
OpenSolaris.org site.
