This is what I did think off and propose on a few mails also.

It will not only take a big effort, it will also cost some money to support
the infrastructure. We may need to find sponsors, depending on the amount of 
freedom we like to have in the community variant of OpenSolaris. 

As a free hosting service, there is Berlios.de and for mailing lists we may 
either use berlios or genunix.....

In any case, we would need quite a few people to set up a sufficient amount of 
web content in order to become visible enough fast.
