Read my post again:

If it were about a community or project that Bryan was a part of - of course 
not.
But, when the time comes to make a decision, sometimes the participants need to
step back and let the decisionmakers make it.  If Bryan chose to not be a part 
of
the OGB or ARC, then he should not expect to be a decision maker in that forum.

Consensus is wonderful, except when it doesn't work.  Since ARC decisions are, 
by
their nature, contentious, there needs to be a mechanism to cause a decision to 
be
made.  In the OGB and ARC worlds, that is done via voting by a core group after 
a
(usually extended) discussion involving everyone who is interested.

Including Bryan :-)
