The Content Project has not been active for a very long time. I created
it, but I don't think it's viable at this point. And even if the concept
may still be valid, I don't think it needs a project space. It just
causes (and caused) confusion. I'm going to suggest to the Content list
that we end of life the Content Project. If the Documentation Community
would like to take over its leadership and re-cast it into something
new, that would certainly be fine with me.

I've been archiving the OpenSolaris Newsletter inside the Content
Project because I had no place to put it, but the Content Project had
nothing to do with the creation, writing, and editing of the newsletter:
http://opensolaris.org/os/project/content/newsletter/ This was always a
temporary storage situation.

So, with that in mind, I'd like to suggest that we migrate the
Newsletter to the new Advocates Community Group (proposal coming soon)
and continue it's publication there. It will fit nicely with the intent
and make up of that group.

Also, I'd also like to move the articles content to the new Advocates
Community: http://www.opensolaris.org/os/articles/ Although I was
involved with the creation and editing of this content, it never found a
proper home associated with any specific community on the site. And most
community members at the time were not interested in such articles.
However, the articles could live quite nicely inside a general community
group like Advocates. In fact, we could even continue writing and
editing such articles as part of the Advocates activity. Or we can leave
the articles where they are and just take ownership of them and add to
that space. Or Documentation can take co-ownership of them and both
groups could contribute. Either way, if the articles are maintained and
owned by someone, it will help with the organization of the site and
community.
