Rough minutes from the 1 April 2009 OGB Meeting:

All current OGB members were in attendance, with Alan Coopersmith joining
as an outgoing member. Lynn Roher & Deirdre (?) also attended.

1. Sun has agreed to provide an OGB secretary, if the OGB wanted one:
we agreed we did. Valerie agreed to take minutes for this meeting,
since the secretary was not present.

2. The second item discussed was whether or not to continue recording
the meetings. The group decided to record this one and then do some
research into if any of the recordings from last year were accessed.
Dierdre said that of the about 30 recordings, there were about 30
accesses (~1/meeting). I don't think this meeting actually got recorded,
as Simon could not find the record option on the web page.

Action Item: Simon to look into how worthwhile this is going forward, based
    on past statistics

3. Election of officers:

Michelle & Simon ran for Chair. Michelle was elected chair, 5-2.

John Plocher, Jim Walker and Peter ran for vice chair. Peter was
elected vice chair with 4 of the votes.

4. Meeting time/frequency

team agreed that we wanted to meet as close to weekly as possible
for April to get boot strapped and going. Thursdays at 9AM PT
seem to work best. Next week is out, though, with at least 3
        OGB members unavailable.

Next meeting April 16, 9AM PT

Team should then plan on trying to meet: April 23 & April 30th as well.

5. New CC grants should all be put into the system. Michelle will use this
as a training opportunity for the new OGB secretary.

6. OGB should author a policy on CC grants and voting. Valerie to send one
    out for discussion

7. We did not really get into our roles, as time was running out.

Action Item: All OGB: review last year's board's policies for discussion on
whether or not to adopt in the next meeting.

Action Item: Valerie would like to discuss priorities and would like
to run a poll. Valerie will start the discussions so we can
vote on it in the next meeting.
