I just checked the earnings report for the Lending Project Bookstore, and we have now earned over $75 from referrals. A large part of this is because someone kindly linked to us before buying their Kindle, which provided over $35 of commission, but people have also bought 21 books through the bookstore (including 12 copies of the OpenSolaris Bible and 2 copies of Pro OpenSolaris).
I propose to buy three $25 Kiva gift vouchers (assuming we don't pass another $25 threshold between now and then) and bring them to CommunityOne. How do people think we should distribute them? If the OGB was giving recognition this year, we /could/ offer them as awards to the top three recognised contributors.
