Some corrections and comments on last week's minutes: > 2) Website Community Group Proposal > > John has talked to Alan Burlison offline about this and his perspective is > inline with the editorial committee - if the website is Sun's property, > then > he sees his job working as an employee, rather than a community member > working within a Community Group.
For the record, that's not an entirely accurate reflection of my perspective, which isn't inline with that of the editorial committee. The phrasing *could* be read as suggesting that I am anti-CG, or that I think there is a conflict between Sun and the current Website Project/CG, and that certainly isn't the case. > Keith agreed that he would be happy > disbanding the community if they can't have their opinions or actions > honoured by Sun, and that it would be good to wait until we hear from Bill > Franklin. Personally I have no clear idea what the opinions of remaining participants of the Website Project/CG are, could I suggest that the OGB asks them directly? -- Alan Burlison --
