Hey,

I thought I'd done this already, but seemingly it wasn't official enough. Either
way, here's the information (discussion should continue on indiana-discuss).

Synopsis (shortened name):
        Indiana

Community groups sponsoring the project:
        Installation & Packaging
        Desktop
Advocates (formerly Marketing, so maybe it doesn't count)

Initial list of participants (in alphabetical order):
        Glynn Foster
        Ian Murdock
        Moinak Ghosh
        Patrick Finch
        Sara Dornsife

Project description:
Project Indiana is a new project to create an OpenSolaris binary
distribution. This distribution will focus on providing a single CD
install with the basic core operating system and desktop environment,

with the opportunity of installing additional software off network
        repositories.

List of related ongoing or proposed projects:
        JDS
        Caiman
        SFW
[potentially the majority of the technical projects on opensolaris.org]

Additional information:

        indiana-discuss at opensolaris.org

The Initial list of participants will indeed grow, and the current list
is more of a requirement to tick a box. Anyone interested in the project
        is welcome to contribute.

Glynn
