I agree, if there is/was an indication that Roland knew he was
nominated and that he had designated Olga as his proxy, then yes, that
simple effort *should* be construed as implied acceptance - but I
haven't seen such an indication.

The last that Olga said was that she'd be seeing him in the hospital
in "4 hours" and would talk to him.  There was no indication that he
is/was aware that Olga was offering to be his proxy, or that she had
talked to him about the election at that point.  If I understand the
mail trail correctly, Olga volunteered (online, directed to the OGB)
to be his proxy, and the OGB accepted her as his proxy, but as his
proxy, she has not accepted his nomination.  She finished her email
with a promise to close the loop and get back to us, and we are taking
her at her word.

Not chads, but being respectful of a potential candidate's wishes in
an extreme situation.
