I thought John had made it very clear that it was not up to him and he had shared as much as he could in public. http://www.mail-archive.com/ksh93-integration-disc...@opensolaris.org/msg00216.html http://www.mail-archive.com/ksh93-integration-disc...@opensolaris.org/msg00222.html The OGB cannot remove John from his job at Oracle, and cannot force Oracle to accept contributions - the most they could do in forcing this issue is to further drive a wedge between the community and the engineers working at Oracle. Given John's years on the OGB I cannot imagine you'd find a better advocate for the community to replace him in the difficult position he is in. I also wonder if you are authorized to speak for the ksh93 project and why this is not coming from one of the well known project leaders, Roland or Olga, if it represents the opinion of the entire project? -- -Alan Coopersmith- alan.coopersm...@oracle.com Oracle Solaris Platform Engineering: X Window System _______________________________________________ ogb-discuss mailing list ogb-discuss@opensolaris.org http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/ogb-discuss
