He's referring to the open call for playtesters to test drive the new 3E
Forgotten Realms setting.  All of the playtesters received the PHB, the
current version of the DMG, and the FR book.  Apparently they recently
received a partial draft of the Monster Manual as well.  They all signed
NDAs, of course.
