I substantially agree with Mr. Nephew's statements re the D20STL.
look at it this way, folks, we're now beta testing the thing. How we
handle it will affect the final version, even if there is a final
version.
One big thing to remember is that if the D20STL does not redound to
the benefit of Wizards, it won't see the light of day. Besides, for
those of you who weren't here when Ryan first presented the idea,
D20STL1.0 aint the final version. As I recall, by 2002 the license is
supposed to be expanded to the point one can publish full D20 games,
with all the things you can't put in now.
But, let's make sure this thing can walk, before we enter it into
track and field events at the 2004 Summer Olympics.
