Since the D20SRD is an WotC product, they get to decide what becomes a
part of it and when. Personally, I don't see any reason why anything
needs to be added to the SRD after it's finished. Others are free to
republish the complete SRD (under terms of the OGL) along with their own
content at will, but there is no reason why the SRD itself should be
revised except for when WotC desires to.

The market decides. Under the terms of the OGL there is no decision as to
what anyone else publishes. As long as enough people are buying various
"supers" systems they all continue to exist. If one is obviously superior
to all the others, more people will buy that product and other developers
are more likely to develop additional products based on the the system in
the better product. Of if none of the systems are superior by themselves,
someone is likely to combine the best aspects of each (as far as that
might be possible) to make the next generation product which is superior.
