Thank you! The Penumbra book is excellent and it has been an inspiration
(most impressively, the skillful way John Tynes avoided using Protected
Phrases (TM)). There have been Atlas/Avalanche crossovers before, if memory
serves - didn't Shadis do a Scotland the Brave/Ars Magica module using our
board game to generate happenings for Ars Magica adventurers?

Yes, Vlad the Impaler from "Last Days of Constantinople" would be available
to, well, impale in a D20/Ars Magica crossover adventure. And there is Greek
Fire. And cannons. The context (who is this man and why is he driven to
impale?) of course would not be "open." However, even though something may be
"open," I would not want to be re-print content from another publisher's work
and I suspect few others would, either.
