It's been 2 days since I've seen anything from the list. Is something
broken or is it just me?

Of the amount of time that I've been on this list, you are not the first
to think there is a problem when the list is simply quiet. Even then,
looking back to many of the messages in my inbox, you might have a
problem if you haven't recieved a message in the past couple days
because I know I've deleted some messages, and I have atleast one
message a day since about the 22nd of January.
It's interesting to note that whenever the list is quiet for more than a
day or so, people begin to freak out that something is screwed up with
the server. As far as I recall, since April, there's been (maybe) one
problem with the server that has caused problems with mail delivery.
If the list is quiet for two days, it probably is, and nothing to worry
about. The only reason I'm sending this out is that it annoys me that
these messages get sent often when there are no problems.
