Suggestion for Maggie and here Open World Community Associates:
The best way to get the benefits of Open Gaming without running afoul of the
rules would be to make all participants nominally "partners" in the
"ownership" of the "group copyright" of the world. Making them "partners"
would make them part of a group that as a whole "publishes" the work, making
it something synonymous with a publishing company. There is nothing to
prevent a company from presenting guidelines to the people that work for it,
so therefore you could direct things a bit inside your group of "partners".
This group would, of course, have "managing partners" that would take care of
directing the efforts.
Would that solve both concerns? It's just a thought...
