Understood. One question, though. Suppose someone
does come out with an adventure or a campaign world
based on the D20 SRD and releases it under the OGL.
What are they supposed to call the system that the
product uses? Is the term "D20" strictly forbidden
to occur anywhere in a product that is OGL but that
hasn't been placed under the D20 STL? I hope I'm not
being a pain here. Basically I'm just trying to
understand how (or if) a person whose work relies on
information in the SRD can say what system it's based
on without breaking the rules of the OGL.
Based on what I've read in the archives and in the
FAQ, I'm assuming that SRD-dependent OGL content is a
no-no until its official release. Correct?
Thanks again for all the information.
Neal
