Sorry, you pushed a button here.
In every language that I know of that has both the idea of string litterals
and the function strcpy, a string litteral is null terminated. Adding the
\0 is over kill and just makes your code hard to read.

Back to real stuff here.....
In my current lame testing example, I moved all the "table loading" into a
seperate .inc file, with a remark at the top saying "This document is
released as open game content". The main script it's self just, in human
terms, rolls some dice and looks things up in a table. That script
(room.php for those that are following at home) is _not_ OGC. Right now
it's not even GPL It's output is OGL, as it happens.
My choice of language here (PHP, a server side web scripting tool) is
deliberate, in that it allows me to avoid the whole "binary vs source"
problem. The source _is_ the program.
