Absolutely. Much as I have gotten angry at the game over the various
years, I've always wished that I could have the materials in front of me
to do something really interesting with it. Now I have. That's cool.
Wizards have decided to do this, not out of the goodness of their
collective harts, but in the context of an overall marketing strategy.
The benefit to us gamers is a windfall. But that doesn't diminish its
value.

So I can now cutnpaste large screeds of text from the SRD for inclusion
in my game, meaning that I don't have to sit down and write the WHOLE
thing, only the bits I want to change. It's enabled me to really
concentrate on the good bits,m rather than having to do an entire system
from scratch. And that, I think, provides valuable breathing space for
game designers.

Cheers,

Lewis
