I think this is the crux of the matter. > From: Rob Lowry <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <<For myself, I am considering just using the first letter as an abbreviated method.. Such that it would be: B. Crushing Hand M. Sword etc..>> This might not be the best solution of them all, but we members of the d20 Vintyri Project have come to the unanimous conclusion that it's the only suggestion offered to date that we can work with. RPGs have so contaminated my brain that I think often about the late but glorious Groucho Marx, who among many other things once said: "Ciccolini may look like an idiot your honor, and he may talk like an idiot, but don't let that fool you! He really is an idiot." Now, my sublime nature leads me to think that only an idiot would not be able to cope properly with a suggestion like that offered by Rob Lowry. Yes, I know, I know. But think about it. While many lunatics like myself are RPGers, I think you'll find few idiots in the game. <<After the last couple weeks of discussion its pretty clear that people want a general concensus of how others plan to work with it, but no single solution has been a catch-all yet.>> I'd like to say, "Exactly!" But I'm probably better off with "more or less." I think we all want a general concensus. Unfortunately, I suspect we're going to have very different ideas about what it is we should be agreeing upon. My project group and I would just love to reach a concensus upon an answer that we think is sensible and easy to understand for the user of that which we produce. Unfortunately, I'm rather convinced that our sense will be someone else's nonsense. And I think that this all so desirable concensus will be extremely elusive, because most of us (myself included) will quickly shout "No!" rather than do what in our minds is tantamount to polluting our work with nonsense.
