<<My method for Mongoose material is to post what I want to use verbatum, for
my co-designers; We go over it, re-balancing it for our setting if required,
and then strip out all text until we have just the rules.
Then we write our own text.
I'm of the opinion that this is what Mongoose wants in the end; Use the
rules, but explain it yourself. Atleast, that's how their OGL declaration
reads to me.

But is Mongoose NEVER using text close to verbatim from other publications. If they are drawing feats, etc. from other publications verbatim then they aren't entitled to exercise the "language" claim to Product Identity to protect their form of expression of the concepts that were OGC'd by a previous publisher.
Unless Mongoose has re-written every sentence in the OGC they borrowed from, they couldn't exercise this declaration of "langauge" as PI. I can't imagine the re-wrote every sentence. But if they did, they should have been more explicit about this.
