Hey, what's going on with the lineendings here? Everyone is polluting
DOS-mode text files with Unix line endings. James has his text editor
set to UNCOMPROMISING UNIX. Any decent text editor autodetects whether
to interpret the file in DOS or UNIX mode, but missing even one
carriage return somewhere in the file causes a Unix autodetection and
millions of annoying ^M characters to be displayed!

Maybe James and Mike have their editors set to never display ^M at all
and thus haven't noticed? If you want to switch to Unix, why not do it
all at once instead of piecemeal?
