As one can see from the imagebufalgo_yee.cpp file, it is a sub-optimal
approach to include color transforms hard coded into software, and arguably
less OIIO's domain as much as OCIO's.

Given the lovely tandem of OIIO and OCIO, I would suggest that the
functionality such as imaging differences, color appearance model
transforms, and other conversions be handled from within OCIO, then exposed
via OIIO.

This would match some of the optional cyclic compiling features OIIO bakes
in when compiled against OCIO.
