This looks great Larry! I'm currently use OIIO for dailies, where I submit from within Nuke in order to collect all kinds of metadata. Using this I'm able to launch it separately from Nuke, meaning I can use the same code in my other applications as well. Perfect. (Yes I know I should look into the Python module :)).
However I'm not able to test this at the moment as I'm one of those that are using the (very kindly) supplied pre-compiled versions (Windows). Whenever I get a chance, I'll give this a shot.
