I am new to the list, and the archive search feature is not working on
the webpage (error:ht Unable to read configuration file)
so I apologize if this is noise
but I get the impression that others (like me) have struggled with a
win64 compile.
There is an excellent resource here:

where a complete build is available for download:
(OpenImageIO-1.4.16-bin-vc9-x64.zip)
I've downloaded it and tested it, it seems to work, includes all the
binaries and libraries, etc.
