You should just be able to

        make nuke
        make ILMBASE_HOME=/path/to/exr OPENEXR_HOME=/path/to/exr

You shouldn't need any further customizations just to point it to an 
already-built ilmabase/openexr, unless something extremely unobvious is going 
on (like if the libraries have some nonstandard naming).
